Prompt Monkey AI

As an AI enthusiast, I have a lot of thoughts about this emerging technology. The kind that I get excited about – new ways to engage in creativity, learning, and productivity. Genuinely, I see emerging art forms in the AI space.

Regarding writing and publishing, it's valid for readers who want to avoid engaging with AI content to have an additional collaboration category or a human-AI collaboration with topics broken down within the new class. It's exciting to see what we can create with AI, and labeling the works as collaborations is an excellent way to showcase the synergy between humans and AI.

About this artwork, I am self-curating with this post.

Sitting in a dark hospital room, keeping my Mother company, I discovered the Wonder AI art generator. I was amazed! I have always admired various art forms – paintings, photography, and digital art. While I can doodle with the best of them, I have never been skilled with brushes or pencils. I did paint a mediocre picture of a white poodle when I was in high school, on black velvet. Beyond that, life took over, and I was wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, I now KNOW that you can learn and master anything you set your mind to learn and practice. Putting in the effort is an investment in ourselves. It all comes down to how much time you are willing to invest in yourself and your passion.

Wonder AI opened up a whole new world of creativity for me. I desperately needed a creative outlet, especially during what felt like a desperate situation while I lost my Mother.

I knew I would write again soon as another creative outlet as I heal. Paired with the plan that blogging will be what I do in retirement, I'm building up my blogs to thrive by the time I retire, and I'll keep on blogging. The idea came to me that I could create my own images for blog posts. My content would be 100% self-created, and that's what I'm doing now!

Presenting my "Prompt Monkey AI" gallery and name, I will create and publish my AI-generated artwork, NFTs. Calling it digital art with an " ai generated" tag is also valid.

The name "Prompt Monkey AI" comes from my love of playing with words. My husband loves Gas Monkey Garage, and "Prompt Monkey" popped into my head, amusing me, and it stuck!

Like a mechanic working on a car (grease monkeys), I see us as "prompt monkeys" crafting in AI generators, whether for artwork, learning new content, brainstorming, etc. We are crafting words in a precise way to achieve the desired result. Prompts can get as intricate as a world builder's notes for a novel.

There needs to be discussions about ethics and the use of AI. Here are some of my personal convictions about creating and sharing AI works:

1. If I share an AI-generated image or create a written work with AI, I will always clearly tag and call it out, making it evident that the work was created via human-AI collaboration.

2. I have styles I admire, like everyone else. I avoid using specific people in my prompts, and if I do use someone's work, I will include them in my title as a notation of inspiration or call them out via a tag or in the post. It's unethical to run a prompt using the work of an established artist or author and not cite them as a source of inspiration when sharing our work. This information should go in the footnotes of written works.

I enjoy photography and engage with deeper learning regarding photography with ChatGPT. That's the extent of my use of AI in photography. I shoot with my Pixel 6 Pro stock camera, ProShot (which allows me to shoot raw with DSLR controls), and Open Camera. In addition, I have a Canon Rebel T3i that I dearly love; I just don't carry it with me as often. I still use it, though. I am an amateur hobby photographer.

Human-AI collaboration is trending and becoming a part of our lives. We've been interacting with AI on our smartphones for quite some time now through its varying stages of growth. Different types of AI tech mean there's some segmentation between how AI is applied and how we live. It's also been in use in medicine for a while now.

I'm trying to convey by discussing the topic of human-AI collaborative efforts in this blog that the availability of AI tech to the masses has created access for many who didn't previously have it. They now have an opportunity to learn new things, improve their productivity, and engage in creativity.

AI is a valuable resource. Let's treat it with kindness.

Thank you for reading and viewing my "Prompt Monkey Gallery."

How do you engage with AI?

Since discovering Wonder AI, I've tried several AI art generators, including MidJourney. I like different things about each of them.
