Remote Workers Helping the Environment
Remote working means you can't freeze me because we both control our thermostats. I wonder how much that saves companies in electrical use alone with remote workers managing their climates & utilities. It's a green job… Could we perhaps see a remote workers' tax break in the future? For Employers and employed? Remote working has advantages, not only for the worker to work from their home office but also for employers. I would go so far as to say, especially as the trend continues toward remote work, that we collectively impact our environment for the better. Have you ever wondered how working from your home benefits our environment? I have weeks I don't drive at all. I'm not spending as much at the pump or burning as much fuel when I go.
